Download Ice Box

After installing#

When you open Ice Box, first choose a work mode to get the permissions needed to freeze apps. On a rooted phone, just grant root access. On a phone without root, answer three questions in the Help Center to find the mode that suits you.

Distribution channels#

Ice Box is currently distributed mainly through these channels:

• Google Play: Install and update through Google Play.
• CoolApk: CoolApk (酷安) is a Chinese Android app store. It no longer offers downloads on its website, but you can download and update Ice Box normally in the CoolApk app.
• Other channels: For example, the Xiaomi app store.
• APK from this site: Download the installer for the latest version directly from this page.

You can find the exact version number and channel under "Settings > About" in Ice Box. The packages from every channel are identical.

Download channels and payment#

The channels listed above are distribution channels, not payment channels. How you pay depends on how Ice Box was installed:

• If you installed it from Google Play, payment and verification go through Google Play.
• If you installed it from any other channel, pay with Alipay or WeChat Pay.

To switch payment channels, download Ice Box again from the matching channel and install it over your current copy. If you saved the installer and installed it manually, it is treated as installed from another channel. See the purchase guide.
