# How to buy Ice Box with WeChat Pay

You can also still buy manually by scanning a QR code, as before.

## Buy by scanning a QR code

1. Scan the QR code below to pay. **You do not need to add a note** when you scan. To scan it on your phone: save the image, open "Scan" in WeChat, tap the menu in the top right corner, and pick the QR code from your photos.
2. **After the payment succeeds**, open the "WeChat Pay" official account, tap "Contact the payee", and leave the seller the message "冰箱激活码" (Ice Box activation code). You do not need to provide a phone number or a screenshot.
3. Staff will reply with your activation code by hand. If no reply comes within a reasonable time, email the developer using the Feedback option in the Ice Box app.

Once you have the activation code, tap "I've purchased" on the Ice Box purchase screen and enter the code to activate.

## Common questions

### I paid by scanning the QR code and used Ice Box for a while, but no longer want it. Can I get a refund?

Payments made by scanning the QR code cannot be refunded. If you paid with WeChat Pay directly in the app, you can contact the developer for a refund through the Feedback option in the app.

### When will I get my activation code after paying by QR code?

**Please make sure you contacted the payee after paying.** To repeat: this is not the same as adding a note when you scan. Once you get in touch, customer service will send your activation code as soon as possible. Working hours are 10 am to 10 pm, and you usually need to wait about 10 minutes.

### How many devices can the activation code activate? Can it be backed up? What if I flash my phone?

### Why didn't the developer reply when I asked other questions through "Contact the payee"?

WeChat messages are subject to a lot of blocking and restrictions. For example, messages containing the word "支付宝" (Alipay) are filtered out, so the developer often cannot see them and cannot reply. Please do not use WeChat messages to report any problem. Check the documentation first, then send an email with the Feedback option in the Ice Box app.

### Can I use a coupon I got from Alipay with WeChat?

No.

### I installed Ice Box from Google Play. How do I activate it with WeChat?

Because of Google's strict requirements, the version downloaded from Google Play cannot use any other channel for payment or verification.
